GOLDEN ERA
For decades, the entire world was dreaming about owning an American car which for many meant owning a piece of the American Dream. Starting in the 1970s, this industrial success started to decline sharply. Today, only about 40% of cars sold in America are American cars. Vintage Cars from the Golden Era of American Car Manufacturing are displayed throughout the country with pride and a sense of nostalgia. They can be seen on people’s front yards, motel parkings and open fields, despite being in bad shape and often inoperable.
Below is a collection of these cars found mostly in the American Country Side.
